We're going to the BAFTAS!

Last Tuesday, BAFTA announced its shortlist for this years BAFTA games awards and I was thrilled to discover that Thank Goodness You're Here, received 7 nominations:

• Best Game
• British Game
• New Intellectual Property
• Debut Game
• Animation (That's ME!)
• Performer in a supporting role (Jon Blyth as Big Ron)
• Performer in a supporting role (Matt Berry as Herbert the Gardener)

It's dizzying to think that our silly little love letter to Yorkshire and character comedy, 4 years in the making and only 7 months into the world is now drawing so many eyes and being recognised by the industry of such a huge platform. Never in a million years did I think Forbes would call us indie darlings.

The BAFTA Games Awards ceremony in London will be live streamed on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 7:00pm BST on BAFTA’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
